Warner Home Video has announced
The Vampire Diaries: The Complete First Season for release on Blu-ray on August 31. This four-disc set will include all 22 episodes of the first season, developed by Kevin Wiliamson (of
Scream and
Dawson's Creek fame) based on a series of novels by L.J. Smith (the first of which is offered with the BD as a downloadable audiobook).
