Davis-Panzer has informed TV Shows on DVD that
Highlander: Season Two, initially slated for April (see blu-ray.com,
January 22) will finally be available to buy –exclusively through the
Legendary Heroes website- from late July. Additional bonus features have been added, thanks to the contributions of fans of the series.
The distributor states that, for this season, the picture has undergone "breakthrough proprietary video enhancement and cleaning algorithm using Apple and AJA Hardware Platform." Regarding audio, the soundtrack has been digitally remastered and encoded in DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 (plus an "embedded" 2.1 DTS-MA track).
