Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment has announced The Last Song for release on a Blu-ray/DVD combo edition on August 17. The Last Song is a coming-of-age love story, based on a novel by Nicholas Sparks and starring Miley Cyrus in a departure from her famous Hannah Montana persona. It is set in a small Southern beach town where father and daughter reconnect with the help of their shared love for music.
