Last Friday, on NBC's
The Tonight Show with Jay Leno (which featured actor Kiefer Sutherland), the end credits included a notice that said: "
24 - Season 8 Blu-ray DVD and the complete series available December 7." Additionally, Sutherland mentioned that a complete collection of all eight seasons of the series
24 is also being released – although it isn't entirely clear if it will come out on Blu-ray as well.
Update
According to a note released by Fox, Season 8 will indeed be released on Blu-ray, but the complete series set will be released on standard-definition DVD only.
