Fox Pathé Europa has announced
I Love You Phillip Morris for release on Blu-ray on June 16. The French studio has set the same list price (€19.98) for the DVD and BD editions of this movie. What is more, the Blu-ray edition also includes the DVD, so consumers are being offered the BD essentially for free.

I Love You Phillip Morris is a drama/comedy based on a true story, starring Jim Carrey as a con-man who falls in love with his cellmate (Ewan McGregor), and directed by
Bad Santa writers Glenn Ficarra and John Requa. It premiered at Sundance in January 2009 and later at the Directors' Fortnight at Cannes, but had difficulty finding an American distributor. After several delays, a limited US theatrical release date has been set for July 30.
