According to specialized site TV Shows on DVD, 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment is set to release
The Simpsons: The Thirteenth Season on Blu-ray on August 24. It will be presented in three discs. Video will be in the original 1.33:1 aspect ratio. The only special feature announced so far is the inclusion of audio commentaries on all 22 episodes.
Note that, before its
20th season, this series had been produced and broadcast in standard definition only. It is not known at the moment if this upcoming Blu-ray edition will be a re-render or an upconversion.
