April 7), Kino International's
Metropolis website has gone online, revealing first details of the theatrical rerelease and Blu-ray edition of
The Complete Metropolis, with 25 minutes of added footage. The film is getting its American premiere tonight at Grauman's Chinese Theatre, Los Angeles, as part of the TCM Classic Film Festival, accompanied by the Alloy Orchestra.
A full run is scheduled at Laemmle's Royal theater starting May 14. It will also screen in New York at the Film Forum from May 7, and at the Cleveland Museum of Art on May 21-23.

The Blu-ray edition is scheduled for November.
