Confirming earlier reports (see blu-ray.com,
March 6), Warner Home Video will release
Hamlet on Blu-ray on August 17. This 1996 four-hour adaptation of William Shakespeare's world-famous tragedy, directed by Kenneth Branagh with an all-star cast, was the last narrative film shot on 65mm film stock. It will be presented in a Digibook edition.
