On April 20, Paramount Home Entertainment will release
The Drawn Together Movie: The Movie! on Blu-ray, featuring the characters from the Comedy Central series
Drawn Together, which had been cancelled in 2008 after its third season. Initially, this will be available exclusively at Best Buy.
In this direct-to-video movie (which premiered at the South by Southwest film festival), the uncensored cast of genre cartoon characters (an immoral superhero, a horny princess, a disgusting black and white slob who may or may not be related to Betty Boop, a Japanese anime mini-monster, a gay elf and more) is back for one last hurrah. The roommates discover that they can curse without any censorship. Great news, until they realize it can mean only one thing: they've all been cancelled.
Family Guy's Seth MacFarlane adds his talents as a surprise guest voice.
