Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced that it will release The White Ribbon(Das weisse Band, eine deutsche Kindergeschichte) on Blu-ray on June 29. This movie, directed by Austrian filmmaker Michael Haneke, won the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival in 2009, and was nominated for Best Foreign Language Film at the Academy Awards.
