Warner Home Video has uploaded the final back cover picture for The Lord of the Rings: The Motion Picture Trilogy, which comes out on Blu-ray in a month, and a significant change in the audio specs has taken place: while initially audio was listed as Dolby TrueHD 5.1, now it's DTS-HD Master Audio 6.1.

The replacement of one lossless codec by another is not too important, but some forum members had complained about the audio track being only 5.1, as the DVDs had DTS-ES 6.1 tracks. Those concerns are now addressed.

The other, less welcome, change is the loss of several subtitled languages as the only subtitle tracks listed now are English for the deaf and hard of hearing and Spanish.
