Wal-Mart has announced that, on March 20, it will exclusively offer
The Twilight Saga: New Moon (Ultimate Fan Edition). In addition to the content on the
Special Edition Blu-ray of
New Moon, the Ultimate Fan Edition will come with collectible lenticular packaging and include a special seven-minute sneak peek of the third installment of the saga,
Eclipse, slated for a theatrical release on June 30.
The sneak peek begins with a behind-the-scenes look at the production of the newest film in the franchise. New interviews with stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner, as well as with series-creator Stephenie Meyer are integrated with on-the-set footage of some of the key scenes and sets from the upcoming movie. This first-look at
The Twilight Saga: Eclipse then concludes with the world premiere of an actual scene from the film between Bella and Edward that, in the words of Wal-Mart's blurb, "will surely have
Twilight fans swooning."
With the movie release scheduled for March 20, 12:01 a.m., fans can be among the first to own the Blu-ray, joining friends nationwide at midnight release events in more than 2,600 24-hour Walmart stores.

February 5), Target had also announced that it would offer exclusively a
Deluxe Edition of
New Moon, containing a film cell and a second disc with "never-before-seen" content, including interviews with Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner.
