Lou Reed's Metal Machine Music Released on Blu-ray

The controversial 1975 Lou Reed album 'Metal Machine Music' (considered as either the ultimate conceptual punk album avant la lettre or a big musical joke) is set for a Blu-ray release in mid-February, to tie in with Reed's upcoming European minitour with a new experimental and improvisational outfit.
The BD, supervised by Lou Reed, contains both discrete 4-channel and stereo audio reproductions of the original analog masters at 96kHz/24 bits, and includes the looped locked groove audio at the end as on the original vinyl release.
