The Blu-ray release of '
Taxi Driver', which was initially expected for this time last year (see blu-ray.com,
July 29, 2008), may be a reality very soon. Wal-Mart has this Martin Scorsese masterpiece up for preorder on BD with a release date of February 9. If the date is correct, this could be a retailer exclusive. Little more is known about this edition, other that it will reportedly come in a "Blu-ray book".

The release date of this title as it appears on the retailer page has been changed to December 31, 2010. This usually means that the release can happen any time during the year.
