District 9' was the top-selling title on Blu-ray, according to Nielsen VideoScan. The South African science-fiction movie with an allegorical subtext also had a substantial 41% of its unit sales coming from high definition. '
The Hangover' came in second, with nearly 90% as many sales as 'District 9'.
The BD market share record still belongs to '
Terminator: Salvation', with 42%.
