New Label Antenna Releasing Announces First Releases

New label Antenna Releasing has officially announced its two first Blu-ray releases. They are: Middle Man (2016) and The Third Saturday in October (2022). The two releases are scheduled to arrive on the market on December 29.

Middle Man

Description: When his mother dies, leaving him nothing but debt and her '53 Oldsmobile, Lenny Freeman (Jim O'Heir, Parks and Recreation) is compelled to hit the road, chase his dream to Vegas, and audition for The Monte Guy Show's annual "Stand-Up Stand-Off." Along the way (and against his better judgment), Lenny picks up a mysterious hitchhiker and his trip quickly spirals from bad to worse.

When Lenny tries his act at an open mic night on his way to the big time, a dispute with a heckler leads to murder. With a dead body now in his trunk, Lenny and Hitch are on the run.

As the body count continues to pile up, Lenny tries to free himself from his psychotic partner and escape to Vegas with the girl of his dreams. But Hitch won't shake so easily. They've got a contract. Not to mention the fact that all the blood and bodies are having a strange side effect on Lenny—his comedy is improving.

As time runs out and the law closes in, things spiral toward a brutal conclusion in this dark comedy of misfortune and mayhem.

Antenna Releasing is proud to release Ned Crowley's Middle Man as its first ever home video release, completing a full-circle moment for multiple members of the team. Middle Man is released on disc for the first time ever with a full suite of supplemental features, highlighted by a feature-length documentary made in-house for this release.

The Third Saturday in October Double Feature

THE THIRD SATURDAY IN OCTOBER: PART V

It's Part V! A long-lost slasher sequel from the direct-to-video boom of the '90s. Unstoppable killer Jakkariah "Jack" Harding is back in town after seven years as he stalks and kills at random before chancing upon a football watch party. The game is, of course, between longstanding rivals the Alabama-Mobile Seahawks and the Tennessee A&M Commonwealth. Chaos ensues, in increasingly ridiculous fashion, with inventive murders and multiple love triangles! Hearts are broken and appendages are torn.

THE THIRD SATURDAY IN OCTOBER

A lost slasher film from the golden age of the slasher genre. October 1979: Ricky Dean is a man on a mission. Years ago, he lost a child at the hands of a psychopathic killer named Jakkariah Harding. When Harding escapes Death Row, Ricky Dean throws himself into the line of fire to stop him from killing again as Harding preys upon a group of friends gathered to watch a college football game.
