For the week that ended on October 10th, Walt Disney Home Entertainment's live-action Moana (2026) topped the Blu-ray-only and overall packaged media charts in its debut. The latest in Disney's live-action adaptations of its animated hits featured Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson reprising his role as the demi-god Maui and opened in July 2026 (ten years after the original animated film, but less than two years after its sequel) to tepid reviews and relatively poor box office, grossing over $126 million domestically and over $323 million globally, against a reported $250 million budget. However, the film does join its animated predecessors in topping the Blu-ray-only chart during release week, just as the animated films did in 2017 and 2025. This week, Moana had an HD share of 51% and 12% of units sold from the 4K UHD format (which, like the animated Moana 2, was also available only as a Limited Edition SteelBook).

Coming in second place on the Blu-ray-only chart is Warner Bros. Home Entertainment's Little Shop of Horrors. Originally released on Blu-ray by Warner back in 2012, this week saw the film receive a 4K UHD upgrade, featuring both the theatrical and directors cuts with Dolby Vision HDR and a new Dolby Atmos audio remix, as well as original DTS-HD MA 2.0 audio on the theatrical version and two new featurettes amongst several existing extras. This week, Little Shop of Horrors sold 65% as many Blu-ray units as Moana, with an HD share of 97% and 94% of units sold from the 4K UHD format, making it the week's top 4K UHD release.

. Rising back up to third place on the Blu-ray-only chart is Universal Pictures Home Entertainment's Disclosure Day. Steven Spielberg's mysterious latest film opened in June 2026 to positive reviews and good box office, taking over $116 million domestically and now, over $246 million globally. This week, Disclosure Day sold 38% as many Blu-ray units as Moana, with a strong HD share of 82% and 72% of units sold from the 4K UHD format, enough to also place second on the 4K UHD chart.

Elsewhere on the charts, Paramount Home Media Distribution's Jackass: Best and Last debuted at No. 7 on the Blu-ray-only chart, while outside the top ten on the 4K UHD chart, Universal Pictures Home Entertainment's documentary Iron Maiden: Burning Ambition 4K debuted at No. 12 and Well Go USA's Blades of the Guardians: Wind Rises in the Desert 4K debuted at No. 17 (tied with Arrow Video's Forbidden Planet 4K in its second week).
