Technicolor Business Group (a leader in Blu-ray Disc authoring and replication) and Testronic Labs (a prominent Blu-ray Disc testing center) have announced that they have partnered to offer comprehensive Blu-ray Disc testing services. The companies hope that by combining their service the time required to get a Blu-ray Disc into production will be significantly reduced.
Seth Hallen, President of Testronic Labs, commented, "Earlier this year our two companies started thinking about ways we could better serve the supply chain. We are convinced that our combined expertise brings powerful testing solutions to the Blu-ray Disc industry."
Testronic Labs was recently certified by the Blu-ray Disc Association (BDA) to provide BD-ROM Movie Player and BD-ROM PC Application Software certification services. Technicolor had the first BDA-approved Blu-ray Disc Test Center for Commercial Audiovisual (AV) Content in the United States when they established the center in 2008.
