Paramount Home Media Distribution will celebrate the 35th anniversary of Nicholas Meyer'Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country (1991) with a new 4K Blu-ray SteelBook release, which is scheduled to arrive on the market on December 1.
The sixth STAR TREK movie, and the last to feature a group appearance of the original television series cast, looks better than ever, boldly remastered from a 4K scan of the original film elements. After years of war, the Federation and the Klingon empire find themselves on the brink of a peace summit. Before negotiations even begin, a Klingon ship is nearly destroyed, and the apparent attack may be from the Enterprise. Now, the crew must brace for what may be their deadliest encounter. Both the original theatrical cut and the Director's cut are included, alongside an array of special features.
