MVD Entertainment has announced that it will release on Blu-ray Drew Fortier's Bunker Heights (2026), starring Drew Fortier, Hannah Fierman, Chaney Morrow, Paul T. Taylor, and Floyd Ewing Jr. The release is scheduled to arrive on the market on October 13.

Description: Set in a once-thriving Midwestern city overrun by corruption, organized crime and violence, Bunker Heights follows burned-out homicide detective Derek Tucker (Drew Fortier) as a routine investigation spirals into a nightmare involving a botched bank robbery, political assassination and a horrifying secret beneath the city streets.

Inspired by cult classics such as C.H.U.D., The Return of the Living Dead and Tremors, Bunker Heights combines practical creature effects, outrageous humor, monster mayhem and offbeat charm into a throwback genre experience celebrating the creature features and horror-comedies of the 1980s and 1990s.

The film stars Hannah Fierman (V/H/S), Chaney Morrow (Haunt), Paul T. Taylor (Hellraiser: Judgment), Floyd Ewing Jr. (The Dead Next Door) and James L. Edwards (Bloodletting). Also appearing are Violent J of Insane Clown Posse, Vinnie Dombroski of Sponge and former Megadeth bassist David Ellefson, who also serves as an executive producer on the film.

The film features practical creature effects by Deryk Wehrley (Zombieland: Double Tap, Fear Clinic, Deathwoods). Bunker Heights was partially filmed at Tennessee's Old Historic Harriman Hospital, a reportedly haunted former hospital that has been featured on paranormal television programs, including Destination Fear.

Ahead of its worldwide release, Bunker Heights will have a special screening September 29 at 7:00 p.m. at Kan-Kan Cinema in Indianapolis, followed by a post-film Q&A with Drew Fortier and Hannah Fierman.
