British distributors 88 Films have provided complete details for their upcoming 4K Blu-ray release of Thom Eberhardt's Night of the Comet (1984), starring Robert Beltran, Catherine Mary Stewart, Kelli Maroney, Sharon Farrell, and Mary Woronov. The release is scheduled to arrive on the market on November 16.
Description: It's going to be to be a hell of a show: a huge comet is passing Earth. But young Reggie Belmont (Catherine Mary Stewart – The Last Starfighter) misses the fireworks to be with her boyfriend. When she wakes up, however, the whole world is changed: the people that haven't been turned into red dust have become zombies. With the help of fellow survivors, including her sister Sam (Kelli Maroney, The Zero Boys) and trucker Hector (Robert Beltran, Eating Raoul), she searches for signs of life – but after the end of civilisation, not everyone they encounter is to be trusted...
