VCI Home Entertainment is preparing a Blu-ray release of Maurice Tourneur's The Pride of the Clan (1917), starring Mary Pickford, Matt Moore, Warren Cook, Kathryn Browne-Decker, and Edward Roseman. The release is scheduled to arrive on the market before the end of the year.
Description: After a violent storm kills island chief MacTavish, leadership of the small Scottish fishing clan passes to his kind-hearted daughter, Marget. Beloved by her people, Marget plans to marry Jamie Campbell, a young fisherman she deeply loves. Before their betrothal, Jamie learns a shocking secret: he is actually the long-lost son of an Earl and Countess.
