CIP: New 4K Restoration and Blu-ray of Metal Messiah Coming Soon

Canadian International Pictures is preparing a new 4K restoration of Tibor Takács' Metal Messiah (1978), starring Stephen Zoller, John Paul Young, and Richard Ward Allen. A Blu-ray release is expected to be announced later this year.
Description: A dystopian rock opera about an enigmatic metallic-skinned stranger, who is trying to stop society's self-destructive obsession with rock and roll hedonism, and a rock promoter who plans to corrupt him too and keep the society decadent.
