During an interview for the
Los Angeles Times to promote the
theatrical release of '
Avatar', actress Sigourney Weaver (who plays a botanist in
James Cameron's movie) discussed all her movie career and her status as
"queen of sci-fi". She also revealed that in the weeks to come, she will record
a commentary for the upcoming Blu-ray release of the
'Alien'
tetralogy.
“I've never done that, watched all of [the Alien movies] in a row,” Weaver
said. “I just recently made my [19-year-old] daughter watch them. She had
never seen them before, believe it or not. I think she just prefers to think of
me as good ol' mom, you know, not some person running around a spaceship
with a flamethrower.”
