Synapse Films, in collaboration with Red Shirts Pictures, has detailed its upcoming combo pack release of Myrl A. Schreibman's Angel of H.E.A.T. (1983), starring Marilyn Chambers, Stephen Johnson, Mary Woronov, Milt Kogan, and Gerald Okamura. The release will begin shipping later this month.
Description: The legendary Marilyn Chambers is Angel Harmony, a glamorous government agent tasked with stopping a mad scientist bent on world domination. His weapons of choice? An army of androids and a bizarre device capable of disintegrating metal. Now, Angel and a band of covert operatives from around the globe must deal with secret microchips, shadowy conspiracies, mud-wrestling disco parties, and erotic temptations around every corner.
Directed by Myrl A. Schreibman, Angel of H.E.A.T. is a gloriously oddball sci-fi/action romp that's earned its place as a true cult curiosity, blending campy espionage thrills with the undeniable star power of Marilyn Chambers.
