BBC Announces Fall Blu-ray Line-up

BBC has announced their fall line-up, which includes a number of Blu-ray releases. First up is 'Becoming Jane' on September 10th, followed by 'Planet Earth' (5-disc), 'Hotel Babylon Series 1', 'Bleak House', 'Galapagos' and 'Twenty Thousand Streets Under the Sky' on October 22nd. Finally, Robin Hood Series 1' will make its way onto Blu-ray on November 29th. 'Becoming Jane' stars Anne Hathaway as author Jane Austen before she became a best-selling novelist. The title will be released on a BD-25, encoded at 1080p and featuring a DTS-HD soundtrack. Extras, including deleted scenes and numerous featurettes, will all be presented in standard definition. 'Planet Earth' will be released as a 5-dics set in the UK (as opposed to the 4-disc set already available). This release will include two Natural World programs, ‘Desert Lions' and ‘Snow Leopard', which were not included with the US release. Unfortunately, the release is still missing the 10-min making of featurettes and the 'Planet Earth: The Future' episode.
