For the week that ended on June 13th, Disney and 20th Century Studios'
Avatar: Fire and Ash made it four weeks on top of the Blu-ray-only, overall packaged media and Blu-ray 3D charts. The third film in the
Avatar franchise and direct sequel to
Avatar: The Way of Water opened in December 2025 to mixed reviews but box office success, grossing over $404 million domestically and over $1.08 billion internationally for a total of some $1.485 billion globally. This week,
Avatar: Fire and Ash had an HD share of 63% and 30% of units sold from the 4K UHD format, enough to re-take the top spot on the 4K UHD chart.
Remaining in second place on the Blu-ray-only chart in its second week is Walt Disney Home Entertainment's
Hoppers. The latest Pixar Animation Studios film opened in March 2026 to positive reviews and box office success, grossing over $166 million domestically and over $372 million globally. This week,
Hoppers sold 58% as many Blu-ray units as
Avatar: Fire and Ash, with an HD share of 51% and 13% of units sold from the 4K UHD format, which is currently available only in
SteelBook packaging.
Coming in third place on the Blu-ray-only chart is
The 'Burbs (1989), which received a 4K UHD upgrade from Shout Factory this week. Originally released on Blu-ray by Universal in
2016 and then by Shout in
2018, the 4K UHD edition is sourced from a new 4K scan of the original camera negative (supervised and approved by Joe Dante), with DTS-HD MA 2.0 audio, Dolby Vision HDR on the 4K UHD disc and both new and existing extras. This week,
The 'Burbs sold 22% as many Blu-ray units as
Avatar: Fire and Ash, with an HD share of 99% and 96% of units sold from the 4K UHD format.
Elsewhere on the charts, the multi-studio release of
Steven Spielberg: The Spotlight Collection (1975-2005) came in at No. 6 on the Blu-ray-only chart, while Lionsgate Home Entertainment's 4K UHD upgrade of
Scream 4 (which received
two different discs) and Universal Pictures Home Entertainment's 4K UHD upgrade of
Notting Hill brought those films up to Nos. 7 and 9. Outside the top ten,
Bowfinger (1999), another title with a 4K UHD upgrade from Shout this week, came in at No. 20. Finally, on the 4K UHD chart, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment's new 4K UHD edition of
The Patriot 4K (2000) came in at No. 19.
