Australian label Imprint Films has informed us that it is preparing two new Hardbox 4K Blu-ray and Blu-ray releases. They are:
Danger: Diabolik (1968) and
Hercules and the Captive Women / Hercules in the Haunted World (1961). The two releases are scheduled to arrive on the market on July 29.
DANGER: DIABOLIK
Description: Slick. Suave. Gentle. Brutal. Wild. Imprint release #12 infiltrates the collection once more, reuniting us with the '60s psychedelic snapshot Danger: Diabolik in a Limited Edition 4K Blu-ray Hardbox release!
Directed by genre legend Mario Bava and based on the Italian comic series by Angela and Luciana Giussani, this colourful crime caper stars John Phillip Law (Barbarella), Marisa Mell, and Michel Piccoli.
The international man of mystery called Diabolik can't get enough of life's good - or glittery - things. Not when there are currency shipments to steal from under the noses of snooty government officials and priceless jewels to lift from the boudoirs of the super-rich. The elusive scoundrel finds plenty of ways to live up to his name in this tongue-in-cheek, live-action caper inspired by Europe's popular Diabolik comics. He clambers up walls, zaps a press conference with exhilaration gas, smacks a confession out of a crime lord whilst free-falling from an aeroplane, and pulls off the heist of a twenty-tonne gold ingot.
This Limited Edition 2-Disc Hardbox includes the film on both 4K Blu-ray and Blu-ray, restored from the original 35mm negative, accompanied by six audio tracks and a heist full of Special Features, plus a 60-page Hardcover Booklet featuring a brand NEW essay by Danger: Diabolik historian Leon Hunt.
HERCULES AND THE CAPTIVE WOMEN / HERCULES AND THE HAUNTED WORLD
Description: Originally released as Hercules and the Conquest of Atlantis, this Italian epic stars British bodybuilder Reg Park as Hercules, alongside Fay Spai, Ettore Manni, and Luciano Marin.
King Androcles of Thebes commands a ship in search of a threat to Greece, predicted by an atmospheric oracle. Hercules is part of the crew, but the strongman falls overboard in a thick fog. Washed ashore, he saves a young Ismene from Proteus, an evil, shape-shifting creature. Ismene takes Hercules to Atlantis, where he discovers that her mother, Queen Antinea, has captured Androcles. Hercules schemes to rescue him and thwart Antinea's dream of world conquest.

Mario Bava's striking vision of the afterlife, Hercules in the Haunted World (1961), sees Reg Park return as Hercules, alongside Christopher Lee, Leonora Ruffo, and Giorgio Ardisson.
Upon his return from battle in the previous film, the great warrior Hercules learns that his lover, Deianira, has lost her senses. According to the oracle Medea, Deianira's only hope is the Stone of Forgetfulness, which lies deep in the realm of Hades. Hercules, with companions Theseus and Telemachus, embarks on a dangerous quest for the stone in the dark and foggy underworld…
Also known as Hercules at the Center of the Earth, or Hercules vs. the Vampires.
