Kino Lorber are preparing a Blu-ray release of Alberto De Martino's Django Shoots First (1966), starring Glenn Saxson, Fernando Sancho, Ida Galli, Nando Gazzolo, and Erika Blanc. The release is scheduled to arrive on the market on August 18.
Description: The isolated desert town of Silver Creek has a new visitor, a mysterious lone rider whose only possessions seem to be his horse, his gun and a dead body. His name is Django (Glenn Saxson), the feared and brutal gunslinger, and the rotting corpse is his father, a wanted outlaw. Django plans to cash in on his father's bounty, only to discover his dad was an innocent man. Now the hunt is on to destroy the men responsible for his demise in this thrilling spin-off of the legendary Django series of Spaghetti Westerns starring Franco Nero.
