For the week of May 4th, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has a Blu-ray and 4K UHD release for Emerald Fennell's "Wuthering Heights" (2026), starring Margot Robbie, Jacob Elordi, Hong Chau, Shazad Latif, Alison Oliver and Martin Clunes.

Description: A bold and original interpretation of one of the greatest love stories of all time, Emerald Fennell's "Wuthering Heights" stars Margot Robbie as Cathy and Jacob Elordi as Heathcliff, whose forbidden passion for one another turns from romantic to intoxicating in an epic tale of lust, love and madness.

Warner's Blu-ray releases of "Wuthering Heights" contain the film's Dolby Atmos audio, with Dolby Vision HDR on the 4K UHD edition. Also new on Blu-ray and 4K UHD from Warner is IT: Welcome to Derry: The Complete First Season (2025), starring Taylour Paige, Jovan Adepo, James Remar, Stephen Rider, Matilda Lawler and Bill Skarsgård.

Description: Set in the world of Stephen King's "IT" universe, IT: Welcome to Derry is based on King's "IT" novel and expands the vision established by filmmaker Andy Muschietti in the feature films IT and IT: Chapter Two.

This terrifying prequel series goes back to 1962 to trace the origins of the murderous, shape-shifting entity known as Pennywise the Clown (Bill Skarsgård). IT: Welcome to Derry premiered on HBO on October 26, 2025 and quickly became one of the most talked-about new series of the year.

Warner's Blu-ray releases of IT: Welcome to Derry: The Complete First Season are three disc sets on Blu-ray or 4K UHD, containing all 8 episodes with Dolby Atmos audio, as well as Dolby Vision HDR on the 4K UHD edition. Extras include Inside Derry featurettes for all episodes, along with extended Inside Derry featurettes for three episodes and the featurette Fear the Other. In addition to standard packaging, a Limited Edition SteelBook with Collector's Retro Artcards will also be available.

Finally from Warner is a Blu-ray box set for Gilmore Girls: The Complete Series (2000-2016), starring Lauren Graham, Alexis Bledel, Scott Patterson, Keiko Agena, Yanic Truesdale and Kelly Bishop. The 28-disc set contains all seven original seasons of the series which ran from 2000-2007, along with the previously-released miniseries Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life (2016).

New on Blu-ray and 4K UHD from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment is Tyree Dillihay's GOAT (2026), featuring the voices of Caleb McLaughlin, Gabrielle Union, Stephen Curry, Nicola Coughlan, Nick Kroll and David Harbour.

Description: From Sony Pictures Animation, the studio behind Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse and the artists that made KPop Demon Hunters, comes GOAT, an original action-comedy set in an all-animal world. The story follows Will, a small goat with big dreams who gets a once-in-a-lifetime shot to join the pros and play roarball – a high-intensity, co-ed, full-contact sport dominated by the fastest, fiercest animals in the world. Will's new teammates aren't thrilled about having a little goat on their roster, but Will is determined to revolutionize the sport and prove once and for all that "smalls can ball!"

Sony's 4K UHD release of GOAT contains Dolby Vision HDR and the film's Dolby Atmos audio. Extras include three exclusive featurettes, an exclusive deleted scene with filmmaker introduction, three additional featurettes and lyric videos for "Mention Me" by CORTIS and "I'm Good" by Jelly Roll.

Also coming to Blu-ray from Sony is Blue Thunder: The Complete Series (1984), starring James Farentino, Dana Carvey, Sandy McPeak, Dick Butkus, Bubba Smith and Ann Cooper.

Description: Blue Thunder is an 11-episode ABC action series following a maverick LAPD helicopter pilot, Frank Cheney (James Farentino), and his crew using an advanced, high-tech helicopter to fight crime in Los Angeles. It serves as a lighter-toned, weekly follow-up to the 1983 film, featuring similar aerial action and a ground-support van known as "Rolling Thunder".

New on Blu-ray from Angel Studios is Charles Kinnane and Daniel Kinnane's Solo Mio, starring Kevin James, Nicole Grimaudo, Kim Coates, Alyson Hannigan, Jonathan Roumie and Julee Cerda.

Description: A wedding disaster leaves Matt Taylor (Kevin James) stranded in Rome—alone, heartbroken, and facing a honeymoon meant for two. Lost in the world's most romantic city, Matt crosses paths with Gia (Nicole Grimaudo), a warm and determined coffee shop owner who helps him see Rome—and his situation—through a different lens.

With her encouragement, and the help of a handful of well-meaning (and wildly meddling) vacationers—Meghan (Alyson Hannigan), Julian (Kim Coates), Neil (Jonathan Roumie), Donna (Julee Cerda), and Heather (Julie Ann Emery)—his ruined honeymoon becomes an unexpected adventure. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Italy, Solo Mio is a heartfelt romantic comedy about resilience, rediscovering joy, and learning that sometimes heartbreak is just the first chapter of a better story.

New on Blu-ray from Lionsgate Home Entertainment is Andrew Erwin and Brent McCorkle's I Can Only Imagine 2, starring John Michael Finley, Milo Ventimiglia, Sophie Skelton, Arielle Kebbel, Trace Adkins and Dennis Quaid.

Description: After the breakout success of the song "I Can Only Imagine," MercyMe's Bart Millard (John Michael Finley) has it all – until fame starts to cost him what matters most. When hopeful newcomer Tim Timmons (Milo Ventimiglia, This Is Us) joins the band for their biggest tour yet, he unknowingly brings a renewed gratitude to Bart's life. Based on the true story behind the hit single "Even If," I Can Only Imagine 2 is the inspiring next chapter of faith, family, and finding God in the fire.

Lionsgate's Blu-ray of contains the film's Dolby Atmos audio. Extras include two audio commentaries: one with the lead singer of MercyMe Bart Millard and singer / songwriter Tim Timmons and another with Andrew Erwin and Brent McCorkle, a making of and four additional featurettes, deleted scenes with directors introductions and a theatrical trailer. New on Blu-ray from Well Go USA is Hubert Davis' Youngblood (2025), starring Ashton James, Alexandra McDonald, Henri Picard, Emidio Lopes, Olunike Adeliyi and Tamara Podemski.

Description: Raised on grit and hockey by his hardline father (Blair Underwood), Dean Youngblood leaves Detroit to join Canada's Hamilton Mustangs. His elite skill turns heads, but his arrogance earns enemies and keeps him benched by a resentful coach. After a costly clash with rival goon Carl Racki, Dean finds guidance from team captain Sutton and unexpected love with the coach's daughter. Turning to catalog titles, the Criterion Collection has a Blu-ray and 4K UHD release for Akira Kurosawa's Stray Dog (野良犬) (1949), starring Toshirô Mifune, Takashi Shimura, Isao Kimura, Keiko Awaji, Reizaburô Yamamoto and Noriko Sengoku. Sourced from a new 4K master, Criterion presents Stray Dog with Japanese: LPCM Mono audio, optional English subtitles and in SDR on the 4K UHD disc. Extras include audio commentary with author Stephen Prince (The Warrior's Camera: The Cinema of Akira Kurosawa) and a making of documentary on the film from the series Akira Kurosawa: It Is Wonderful to Create featuring Kurosawa, production designer Yoshiro Muraki, actor Keiko Awaji and others. Also included is "an essay by film critic Terrence Rafferty and an excerpt from Kurosawa's book Something Like an Autobiography".

Coming to remastered Blu-ray and 4K UHD from Walt Disney Home Entertainment is Clyde Geronimi, Hamilton Luske and Wilfred Jackson's Alice in Wonderland (1951), featuring the voices of Kathryn Beaumont, Ed Wynn, Richard Haydn, Sterling Holloway, Jerry Colonna and Verna Felton. Sourced from a new 4K master, Disney presents Alice in Wonderland with a choice of DTS-HD MA 5.1 or lossy Dolby Digital 2.0 Mono audio options and Dolby Vision HDR on the 4K UHD disc. Extras include Through the Keyhole: A Companion's Guide to Wonderland, three introductions from Walt Disney, deleted materials, featurettes, music videos, trailers and more.

Coming to Blu-ray Kôsei Saitô's G.I. Samurai (AKA Time Slip or I Want To) (戦国自衛隊) (1979), starring Shin'ichi "Sonny" Chiba, Jun Etô, Moeko Ezawa, Hitoshi Ômae, Noriko Honma and Shin Kishida. Sourced from a 4K master by Kadokawa, Arrow presents G.I. Samurai with a choice of LPCM Mono, DTS-HD MA 4.0 or a DTS-HD MA 5.1 remix, along with optional, newly-translated English subtitles. Extras include a new audio commentary with Samm Deighan and Tom Mes, new critical appreciations by Japanese film specialist Mark Schilling, author Matt Alt (Pure Invention: How Japan's Pop Culture Conquered the World) and authors and film critics Masaaki Nomura and Tatsuya Masuto, interviews from 2005 with Sonny Chiba, Isao Natsuyagi, Hiromitsu Suzuki, Kamayatsu Monsieur, Jun Eto and Isao Kuraishi, an image gallery and trailers. Also coming from Arrow is a 4K UHD upgrade for John Badham's Blue Thunder (1983), starring Roy Scheider, Warren Oates, Candy Clark, Daniel Stern and Malcolm McDowell. Sourced from a new a new 4K scan of the film's original camera negative, Arrow presents Blue Thunder with Dolby Vision HDR and a choice of LPCM 2.0 or DTS-HD MA 5.1 audio options. Extras include new interviews with John Badham, Candy Clark and Malcolm McDowell, legacy audio commentary with Badham, editor Frank Morriss and motion control supervisor Hoyt Yeatman, the documentary Ride with the Angels: Making Blue Thunder and the featurette The Special: Building Blue Thunder (both 2006), a promotional featurette from 1983, an extended scene, an image gallery and a theatrical trailer. Limited edition content includes a "collectors' booklet featuring new writing on the film by Dennis Capicik and original production notes". Finally this week, Magnolia Home Entertainment has a Blu-ray and 4K UHD box set for Nicolas Winding Refn's The Pusher Trilogy (1996-2005), starring Kim Bodnia, Mads Mikkelsen and Zlatko Buric. All three films come with a choice of Danish: DTS-HD MA 5.1 audio or new Danish: Dolby Atmos remixes, English dubbed audio, optional English or English SDH subtitles and in SDR on the 4K UHD edition. Extras include audio commentaries for the second and third films with Nicolas Winding Refn and Jonathan Romney, the feature-length documentary Gambler (2006) the featurettes Cooking with Milo and Street Casting, as well as clips and trailers from the Bollywood remake.
