For the week that ended on April 18th, Toho's Godzilla Minus One rose up 120 places to crush the Blu-ray-only chart like a Tokyo office building. Toho's 33rd Godzilla film was a smash hit both in Japan and internationally, grossing as much as $116 million worldwide (on a reported budget of between $10-15 million) and going on to win the Academy Award for Best Visual Effects, becoming the first non-English-language film to win that award. This week also saw a trailer released for the film's sequel, Godzilla Minus Zero, which is set for a theatrical release in November 2026. This week, Godzilla Minus One had an HD share of 86% and 73% of units sold from the 4K UHD format.

Remaining in second place on the Blu-ray-only chart in its second week is Alliance Entertainment's Mercy (2026). The action thriller starring Chris Pratt and Rebecca Ferguson opened in January 2026 to negative reviews and grossed over $24 million domestically and over $54 million worldwide. This week, Mercy sold 88% as many Blu-ray units as Godzilla Minus One, with an HD share of 41% and 9% of units sold from the 4K UHD format.

And remaining in third place on the Blu-ray-only chart in its third week is Lionsgate Home Entertainment's Greenland 2: Migration. The sequel to surprise hit Greenland (2020) opened in January 2026 but failed to match the success of its predecessor, grossing only some $45 million worldwide. This week, Greenland 2: Migration sold 85% as many Blu-ray units as Godzilla Minus One, with an HD share of 48% and 10% of units sold from the 4K UHD format.

Coming in fourth place on the Blu-ray-only chart is the Criterion Collection's remastered Blu-ray and 4K UHD releases of Monty Python's Life of Brian. Originally released on Blu-ray by Sony in 2008, Criterion's release is sourced from a new 4K master (supervised by Monty Python's Terry Gilliam), with both original DTS-HD MA 2.0 Surround and DTS-HD MA 5.1 audio options, as well as Dolby Vision HDR on the 4K UHD edition and Blu-ray disc of extras. This week, Monty Python's Life of Brian sold 83% as many Blu-ray units as Godzilla Minus One, with an HD share of 99% and 89% of units sold from the 4K UHD format.

Elsewhere on the charts, Kino Lorber's remastered Blu-ray and 4K UHD release of The Phantom (1996) brought that film up to No. 15 on the Blu-ray-only chart.
