British label Screenbound Pictures is preparing a 4K Blu-ray release of Jack Hazan and David Mingay's Rude Boy (1980), starring Dave Armstrong, Barry Baker, Terry Barry, Reg Bazell, and Stephen Behan. The release is scheduled to arrive on the market on June 22.
Description: Rude Boy blends fiction and documentary to follow Ray Gange, a punk who becomes a roadie for The Clash. Set in late-'70s Britain, it captures the band's explosive live shows, studio sessions, and political edge—culminating in their legendary Rock Against Racism performance at Victoria Park.
