Raro Video is preparing a Blu-ray release of Ruggero Deodato's Waves of Lust (1975), starring Silvia Dionisio, Al Cliver, John Steiner, and Elizabeth Turner. The release is scheduled to arrive on the market on June 16.
Description: Waves of Lust is a superb erotic thriller from director Ruggero Deodato (Cannibal Holocaust). Two carefree youngsters, Irem and Barbara (Al Cliver and Silvia Dionisio), are invited for a weekend cruise on a yacht owned by Giorgio (John Steiner, Caligula), a ruthless and cynical industrialist. He is married to Silvia (Elizabeth Turner), a disturbed woman who allows herself to be physically and mentally terrorized by him. But then she falls into a ménage à trois with Irem and Barbara, who all conspire against Giorgio, whose misogyny and paranoia push him over the edge into madness.
