The Chronology of Water Blu-ray

The British Film Institute has detailed its upcoming Blu-ray release of Kristen Stewart's The Chronology of Water (2025), starring Imogen Poots, Thora Birch, Jim Belushi, Tom Sturridge, and Charlie Carrick. The release is scheduled to arrive on the market on April 27.

Description: A journey through the sensuous and the sensual, Oscar-nominated actor Kristen Stewart's directorial debut chronicles Lidia Yuknavitch's life as she experiences and processes childhood abuse, first love, addiction and grief, led by a raw and magnetic performance from Imogen Poots (The Father, Green Room, Vivarium). The cast also includes Jim Belushi, Thora Birch, Charlie Carrick, Susannah Flood, Esmé Creed-Miles, Earl Cave, Kim Gordon, Tom Sturridge and Michael Epp.

Adapted by Stewart from the acclaimed memoir by Yuknavitch, The Chronology of Water is a poetic and unflinching exploration of identity, self-discovery and resilience, brought vividly to life through Stewart's assured directorial vision.
