MGM Home Entertainment, in conjunction with 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment, has announced that it will release '
Fame' on Blu-ray on January 12, 2010. This "reinvention" of the Alan Parker 1980 movie (which, in turn, is announced on Blu-ray for
January 26) will feature the theatrical and "extended dance" versions of the film, as well as deleted scenes and a digital copy of the movie.
