For the week of March 16th, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment will release Tom Gormican's Anaconda (2025), starring Jack Black, Paul Rudd, Steve Zahn, Thandiwe Newton, Daniela Melchior and Selton Mello.

Description: Doug (Jack Black) and Griff (Paul Rudd) have been best friends since they were kids, and have always dreamed of remaking their all-time favorite movie: the cinematic "classic" Anaconda. When a midlife crisis pushes them to finally go for it, they head deep into the Amazon to start filming. But things get real when an actual giant anaconda appears, turning their comically chaotic movie set into a deadly situation. The movie they're dying to make? It might just get them killed.

Sony's 4K UHD release of Anaconda contains Dolby Vision HDR and the film's Dolby Atmos audio. Extras include "hiss-terical" outtakes and bloopers, deleted and extended scenes and the featurettes A Ride into Chaos with Jack and Paul, Friends in the Wild: The Cast, The Snake Charmer: Tom Gormican and Reinventing the Legend: Anaconda.

Note: Sony's 4K UHD release of Anaconda is currently available only in SteelBook packaging.

Also new from Sony is a Blu-ray for For All Mankind: Season Two (2021). The four-disc set contains all 10 episodes, along with an audio commentary track on the 76-minute season finale episode. For a full release breakdown, read Randy Miller's Blu-ray review.

Also new on Blu-ray from Sony is Nicholas Hytner's The Choral, starring Ralph Fiennes, Roger Allam, Mark Addy, Alun Armstrong, Robert Emms and Simon Russell Beale.

Description: 1916. As war rages on the Western Front, the Choral Society in Ramsden, Yorkshire has lost most of its men to the army. The Choral's ambitious committee, determined to press ahead, decides to recruit local young males to swell their ranks. They must also engage a new chorus master, and despite their suspicions that he has something to hide, their best bet seems to be Dr. Henry Guthrie (Ralph Fiennes) – driven, uncompromising, and recently returned from a career in Germany. As conscription papers start to arrive, the whole community discovers that the best response to the chaos that is laying waste to their lives is to make music together.

New oin Blu-ray and 4K UHD from Lionsgate Home Entertainment is Paul Feig's The Housemaid (2025), starring Sydney Sweeney, Amanda Seyfried, Brandon Sklenar, Elizabeth Perkins, Michele Morrone and Megan Ferguson.

Description: The Housemaid is a wildly entertaining thriller starring Sydney Sweeney and Amanda Seyfried, based on the best- selling book. From director Paul Feig, the film plunges audiences into a twisted world where perfection is an illusion, and nothing is as it seems. Trying to escape her past, Millie (Sweeney) accepts a job as a live-in housemaid for the wealthy Nina (Seyfried) and Andrew Winchester (Brandon Sklenar). But what begins as a dream job quickly unravels into something far more dangerous — a sexy, seductive game of secrets, scandal, and power. Behind the Winchesters' closed doors lies a world of shocking twists that will leave you guessing until the very end.

Lionsgate's Blu-ray releases of The Housemaid contain the film's Dolby Atmos audio, with Dolby Vision HDR on the 4K UHD disc. Extras include two audio commentaries: one with Paul Feig and another with Feig and the creative team, the featurettes A Peek Inside, From Page to Panic: Making The Housemaid and Secrets of the Winchester House: A Housemaid Tour, deleted scenes and theatrical trailers. In addition to standard packaging, an Amazon Exclusive DigiPack will also be available.

Also coming from Lionsgate is a 4K UHD upgrade for Mark Jones' Leprechaun (1992), starring Warwick Davis, Jennifer Aniston, Ken Olandt, Mark Holton, Robert Hy Gorman and Shay Duffin. Sourced from a new 4K master, Lionsgate presents Leprechaun with Dolby Vision HDR and a choice of an original theatrical stereo mix or Dolby TrueHD 5.1 audio. New extras include Leprechaun Lore: Genesis of a Cult Classic Designing Mischief & Mayhem: Special Effects Makeup and Leprechaun First Day on Set: Behind-the-Scenes Footage as well as a Vidmark Entertainment promo screener. Additional extras include audio commentary with Warwick Davis, the documentary The Leprechaun Chronicles Part One: Beginner's Luck, behind-the-scenes footage, a still gallery and a theatrical trailer.

Finally from Lionsgate is the Blu-ray and 4K UHD premiere of Robert Mandel's The Substitute (1996), starring Tom Berenger, Ernie Hudson, Raymond Cruz, William Forsythe, Luis Guzmán and Richard Brooks. Sourced from a new 4K master, Lionsgate presents Leprechaun with Dolby Vision HDR and a new Dolby Atmos audio remix. New extras include the featurettes Power Achieved Is Power Perceived: Director Robert Mandel on The Substitute, Color Grade Is in Session and Bullet Points: Storyboard-to-Film Exploration, as well as a theatrical trailer.

Note: Lionsgate's 4K UHD releases of Leprechaun (available only in SteelBook packaging) and The Substitute are currently exclusive to the Lionsgate Limited website.

New on Blu-ray from Shudder is Ben Leonberg's Good Boy, starring Shane Jensen, Arielle Friedman, Larry Fessenden, Stuart Rudin, Hunter Goetz, Anya Krawcheck and Indy.

Description: Our canine hero, Indy, finds himself on a new adventure with his human owner—and best friend—Todd, leaving city life for a long-vacant family home in the country. From the start, two things are abundantly clear: Indy is wary of the creepy old house, and his affection for Todd is unwavering. After moving in, Indy is immediately vexed by empty corners, tracks an invisible presence only he can see, perceives phantasmagoric warnings from a long-dead dog, and is haunted by visions of the previous occupant's grim death. When Todd begins succumbing to the dark forces swirling around the house, Indy must battle a malevolence intent on dragging his beloved Todd into the afterlife.

Shudder's Blu-ray of contains an audio commentary with Ben Leonberg and producer Kari Fischer, a making of featurette, behind-the-scenes extras and a development diary.

New on 4K UHD combo pack from Disney and Searchlight Pictures is Bradley Cooper's Is This Thing On?, starring Will Arnett, Laura Dern, Andra Day, Bradley Cooper, Sean Hayes and Ciarán Hinds.

Description: As their marriage quietly unravels, Alex (Will Arnett) faces middle age and an impending divorce, seeking new purpose in the New York comedy scene, while Tess (Laura Dern) confronts the sacrifices she made for their family—forcing them to navigate co-parenting, identity, and whether love can take a new form.

New on Blu-ray and 4K UHD from Cineverse is Christophe Gans' Return to Silent Hill, starring Jeremy Irvine, Hannah Emily Anderson, Ljiljana Velimirov, Giulia Pelagatti, Evie Templeton and Robert Strange.

Description: When a mysterious letter calls him back to Silent Hill, James (Irvine) returns in search of his lost love, Mary (Anderson), but finds a place transformed by evil and plagued by terrifying creatures. As he descends deeper into the darkness he must unravel the mystery of what happened to the town - and the people in it – to survive long enough and save Mary.

Cineverse's Blu-rays of Return to Silent Hill contain DTS-HD MA 5.1 audio, with HDR on the 4K UHD disc. Extras include four featurettes and a trailer. In addition to standard packaging, both an Amazon Exclusive SteelBook and a Walmart Exclusive SteelBook will also be available.

New on Blu-ray from Angel Studios is Brent Dawes and Phil Cunningham's David (2025), featuring the voices of Miri Mesika, Phil Wickham, Brandon Engman, Adam Michael Gold, Kamran Nikhad and Asim Chaudhry.

Angel Studios' Blu-ray of David contains an exclusive commentary track, a roundtable conversation with cast and crew and a sing-along version.

New on Blu-ray and 4K UHD from Well Go USA is Josh C. Waller's Lone Samurai, starring Shogen, Yayian Ruhian, Rama Ramadhan, Sumire Ashina, Faisal Rachman and Fatih Unru.

Description: A 13th century samurai finds himself shipwrecked on an island he believes to be deserted. As he contemplates his existence, it seems like a dignified death at his own hands might be his best solution. However, when he is captured by the murderous cannibal tribe that calls this island home, his survival instinct kicks in. Starring Shogen Ito and directed by Josh Waller (Raze, McCanick), Lone Samurai is existential action like you've never seen.

Well Go USA's Blu-ray releases of Lone Samurai contain a Japanese: Dolby Atmos audio track, English subtitles, an English dub option and Dolby Vision HDR on the 4K UHD edition. Extras on the 4K UHD edition include a black-and-white version of the feature film (in HD resolution), while the Blu-ray edition contains a trailer. New on Blu-ray from Vertical Entertainment is Zak Hilditch's We Bury the Dead, starring Daisy Ridley, Brenton Thwaites, Mark Coles Smith, Matt Whelan, Chloe Hurst and Kym Jackson.

Description: After a catastrophic military disaster, the dead don't just rise – they hunt. The military insists they are harmless and slow-moving, offering hope to grieving families. New on Blu-ray from Decal Releasing is Max Walker-Silverman's Rebuilding, starring Josh O'Connor, Lily LaTorre, Meghann Fahy, Kali Reis and Amy Madigan.

Description: After losing the old family ranch to a wildfire, a cowboy winds up in a small camp in the vast American West. When he reconnects with his daughter, his ex-wife, and the neighborhood around him, together they find an unlikely community.

Finally for new releases, Music Box Films has a Blu-ray for Charlie Shackleton's documentary Zodiac Killer Project.

Description: Filmmaker Charlie Shackleton was hot on the trail of the next great American true crime documentary—a riveting account of a highway patrolman's quixotic effort to identify and capture the infamous Zodiac Killer. Shackleton devised a plan, began collecting interviews, and shot "evocative B-roll" footage of ghostly California freeways and parking lots where the killer may have once lurked. And then the project fell apart, leaving Shackleton with fragments of the unfinished film and time to ruminate on shortcuts and signifiers of the ubiquitous genre. Zodiac Killer Project emerges from the ash heap to probe and deconstruct the form with the incisive eye of a true crime connoisseur.

Music Box Films' Blu-ray of contains a reel of "Evocative B-Roll", a Q&A with Charlie Shackleton from the Music Box Theatre a short film and much more.

Turning to catalog titles, Kino Lorber have several coming to Blu-ray and 4K UHD. They are:

A Blu-ray double-feature of Jack Benny: Comedy Classics (1937-1939), including Raoul Walsh's Artists and Models (1937), also starring Ida Lupino, Richard Arlen, Gail Patrick, Ben Blue and Judy Canova and Mark Sandrich's Man About Town (1939), also starring Dorothy Lamour, Edward Arnold, Binnie Barnes, Monty Woolley and Isabel Jeans. Both films are sourced from new 2K masters and come with new audio commentaries by film historian Eddy Von Mueller (on Artists and Models) and film historians Paul Anthony Nelson and Lee Zachariah (on Man About Town), as well as newly remastered theatrical trailers.

A remastered Blu-ray and 4K UHD release for Marcel Carné's Port of Shadows (Le Quai des brumes) (1938), starring Jean Gabin, Michel Simon, Michèle Morgan, Pierre Brasseur, Édouard Delmont and Raymond Aimos. Sourced from a new 4K scan, Kino presents Port of Shadows with DTS-HD MA 2.0 Mono audio, optional English subtitles and Dolby Vision HDR on the 4K UHD disc. Extras include a new audio commentary with author and film critic Simon Abrams, an introduction by professor / film critic Ginette Vincendeau and the documentary On the Port of the Shadows. Sourced from a new 4K master, Kino presents Ilsa, The Tigress of Siberia with DTS-HD MA 2.0 Mono audio and Dolby Vision HDR on the 4K UHD disc. A remastered Blu-ray and 4K UHD release for Kenneth Branagh's Dead Again (1991), starring Kenneth Branagh, Emma Thompson, Andy Garcia, Derek Jacobi, Wayne Knight and Hanna Schygulla. Sourced from a new 4K scan of the original camera negative, Kino presents Dead Again with a choice of DTS-HD MA 5.1 or 2.0 audio options and Dolby Vision HDR on the 4K UHD disc. And finally from Kino comes a remastered Blu-ray and 4K UHD release for Guillermo del Toro's Mimic (1997), starring Mira Sorvino, Jeremy Northam, Josh Brolin, Giancarlo Giannini, Charles S. Dutton and Alexander Goodwin. Sourced from a new 4K scan of the original camera negative (approved by Guillermo del Toro), Kino presents the theatrical and directors cuts of Mimic with a choice of DTS-HD MA 5.1 or 2.0 audio options and Dolby Vision HDR on the 4K UHD discs. Coming to Blu-ray and 4K UHD from the Criterion Collection is Claude Sautet's Classe tous risques (1960), starring Lino Ventura, Sandra Milo, Jean-Paul Belmondo, Marcel Dalio, Michel Ardan and Claude Cerval. Sourced from a new 4K master, Criterion presents Classe tous risques with LPCM Mono audio and Dolby Vision HDR on the 4K UHD disc. Extras include excerpts from N. T. Binh and Dominique Rabourdin's documentary Claude Sautet ou La magie invisible (Claude Sautet or the Invisible Magic) (2003), an interview with novelist and co-screenwriter José Giovanni, archival interview footage with Lino Ventura and trailers. Also included are "essays by filmmaker Bertrand Tavernier and Binh, a reprinted interview with Sautet, and a 1962 tribute by Jean-Pierre Melville".

And coming to Blu-ray from Criterion is Lynne Littman's Testament (1983), starring Jane Alexander, William Devane, Ross Harris, Roxana Zal, Lukas Haas and Philip Anglim. Sourced from a new 4K master (supervised and approved by Lynne Littman and director of photography Steven Poster), Criterion presents Testament with LPCM Mono audio. Extras include Littman's documentaries (made in collaboration with anthropologist Barbara Myerhoff) Number Our Days (1976) and In Her Own Time (1985), the archival featurettes "Testament" at 20 and Nuclear Thoughts, an audio recording of Jane Alexander reading the source short story "The Last Testament," and a trailer. Also included is an essay by author and film curator Michael Koresky.

Coming to Blu-ray and 4K UHD from Arrow Video is Eugenio Mira's The Birthday (2004), starring Corey Feldman, Jack Taylor, Tony Corvillo, Sue Flack, Colin Morgan and Erica Prior. Sourced from a new 4K scan of the original camera negative, Arrow presents The Birthday with DTS-HD MA 5.1 audio and Dolby Vision HDR on the 4K UHD edition. Extras include audio commentary with Corey Feldman and co-writer / director Eugenio Mira, a new interview with Mira, a scene breakdown by Mira, a Q&A from the 2024 Fantastic Fest, an image gallery and both original and 20th anniversary trailers. Finally this week, coming to 4K UHD from Shout Factory and GKIDS is Mamoru Hosoda's The Boy and The Beast (バケモノの子) (2015), starring Koji Yakusho, Aoi Miyazaki, Shôta Sometani, Suzu Hirose, Kazuhiro Yamaji and Mamoru Miyano. Shout and GKIDS' release of The Boy and The Beast contains a making of featurette, a promotional video collection, cast commentary, key staff commentary, teasers and trailers.
