Sony Pictures Home Entertainment is preparing a Blu-ray release of Adam Rifkin's The Dark Backward (1991), starring Judd Nelson, Bill Paxton, Lara Flynn Boyle, James Caan, and Rob Lowe. The release is scheduled to arrive on the market on May 19.
Description: Judd Nelson (Airheads, TV's "Suddenly Susan") and Bill Paxton (Titanic, U-571) star in this cult comedy classic! Garbage man Marty tries his hand at standup comedy, failing miserably until a third arm mysteriously grows from his back. Gus, his accordion player friend, figures out a way to use thenew arm and gets them signed with a sleazy talent agent. Just when success seems near, Marty's girlfriend leaves him - can the arm be far behind? Directed and written by Adam Rifkin (Detroit Rock City).
