For the week of February 9th, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has a Blu-ray release for James Vanderbilt's Nuremberg (2025), starring Russell Crowe, Rami Malek, Leo Woodall, John Slattery, Mark O'Brien, Richard E. Grant and Michael Shannon.
Description: The Allies, led by the unyielding chief prosecutor, Robert H. Jackson (Michael Shannon), have the task of ensuring the Nazi regime answer for the Holocaust in the trial of the century while a US Army psychiatrist (Rami Malek) is locked in a dramatic psychological duel with former Reichsmarschall Herman Göring (Russell Crowe), revealing the sobering truth that ordinary men commit extraordinary evil.
Also coming from Sony is a 4K UHD re-release for David Lean's Lawrence of Arabia (1962), starring Peter O'Toole, Alec Guinness, Anthony Quinn, Jack Hawkins, Omar Sharif and José Ferrer. Originally released only as part of Sony's Columbia Classics Collection: Volume 1 in 2020, the film was then released individually in 2022 and 2023, but only as Limited Edition SteelBooks, so this will be the first time the film is available individually in standard packaging. The film is split over two 4K UHD discs and presented with Dolby Vision HDR and a choice of a Dolby Atmos remix or DTS-HD MA 5.1 audio. A brief, unused international prologue is included on the 4K UHD discs in Dolby Vision, while two Blu-rays with the film and extras are also included.

Sentai Filmworks' Blu-ray of Beheneko: The Elf-Girl's Cat is Secretly an S-Ranked Monster! - Complete Collection is a two-disc set with 12 episodes in a choice of original Japanese or dubbed English: DTS-HD MA 2.0 audio, with English or English SDH subtitles. Extras include clean opening and closing animations. In addition to standard packaging, a Limited Edition SteelBook with a slipcover and three magnet sheets will also be available.
Turning to catalog titles, the Criterion Collection has a 4K UHD upgrade for Jacques Tati's PlayTime (1967), starring Jacques Tati, Rita Maiden, France Rumilly, France Delahalle, Laure Paillette and Reinhard Kolldehoff. Sourced from a 4K master, Criterion presents PlayTime in SDR with a French: DTS-HD MA 3.0 audio track or an alternate English-dubbed soundtrack. Extras include three select-scene audio commentaries: one with film historian Philip Kemp, a second with theater director Jérôme Deschamps and a third with Jacques Tati expert Stéphane Goudet, an introduction to the film by actor and comedian Terry Jones. a visual essay by Goudet, the "Tativille" (1967) episode of the UK TV series Tempo International, (featuring an interview with Tati from the set of the film), the documentary Beyond "PlayTime" (2002), a 2006 interview with script supervisor Sylvette Baudrot, a 1972 audio interview with Tati from the San Francisco International Film Festival, Goudet's documentary Tati Story, the 1976 TV program "Monsieur Hulot's Work" and the short film Cours du soir (1967), written by and starring Tati. Also included is an essay by critic Jonathan Rosenbaum.
Note: According to Criterion, the 4K UHD release of PlayTime is a two-disc set which contains "one 4K UHD disc of the film and one Blu-ray with the special features".
Coming to remastered Blu-ray and 4K UHD from MVD Visual is Ted Bafaloukos' Rockers (1978), starring Leroy Wallace, Richard 'Dirty Harry' Hall, Monica Craig, Marjorie Norman, Jacob Miller and Gregory Isaacs. Sourced from a new 4K master, MVD Visual presents Rockers with a choice of LPCM 2.0 Mono (Dolby Digital 2.0 Mono on the Blu-ray) or DTS-HD MA 5.1 audio tracks and HDR on the 4K UHD disc. Extras include the feature-length documentary Jah No Dead: The Making of Rockers, interviews with Ted Bafaloukos and Patrick Hulsey, a commentary featurette with Bafaloukos, two music videos and a theatrical trailer. Coming to Blu-ray from Alliance Entertainment is Sidney Poitier's Hanky Panky (1982), starring Gene Wilder, Gilda Radner, Kathleen Quinlan, Richard Widmark, Robert Prosky and Josef Sommer. This will be the film's debut on Blu-ray.
Coming to Blu-ray and 4K UHD from Shout Factory is Johnnie To and Yeung-Wah Kam's The Big Heat (城市特警) (1988), starring Waise Lee, Joey Wang, Kong Chu, Stuart Ong, Roy Cheung and Michael Man-Kin Chow. Sourced from a new 4K scan of the original camera negative, Shout presents The Big Heat with original Cantonese or dubbed English: DTS-HD MA Mono audio tracks, optional, newly-translated English subtitles and Dolby Vision HDR on the 4K UHD disc. Extras include new audio commentary with author and critic David West, new interviews with Waise Lee, academic Gilbert Po and critic James Mudge, as well as a theatrical trailer.
Coming to Blu-ray from Arrow Video is Frank Cappello's American Yakuza, starring Viggo Mortensen, Ryo Ishibashi, Michael Nouri, Franklyn Ajaye, Yuji Okumoto and Anzu Lawson. Sourced from an HD master, Arrow presents American Yakuza with LPCM 2.0 audio. Extras include a new audio commentary with Frank Cappello and actor Anzu (Cristina) Lawson, new interviews with Cappello and Ryo Ishibashi, a 2024 interview with Viggo Mortensen, a trailer and an image gallery. Finally this week, MGM has a Blu-ray for Tim Sullivan's Jack and Sarah (1995), starring Richard E. Grant, Samantha Mathis, Judi Dench, Eileen Atkins, Cherie Lunghi and Imogen Stubbs. This will be the film's worldwide debut on Blu-ray.
