Refuse Films has informed us that it will add three new titles to its Blu-ray catalog. They are: The Pope of Utah (1993), Splatter University (1984), and Die You Zombie Bastards! (2005). The three releases are scheduled to arrive on the market in late April.
The Pope of Utah
Description: A small-time TV evangelist struggles to keep his crumbling career together. When high-tech televangelist Melvis Pressin's empire begins to crumble, it triggers a full-blown meltdown. He believes the only way to save his sleazy broadcast ministry is by crushing everyone in his path. Melvis dons his garish suits and mustard-stained charisma and goes to war inside a retro-futurist religious TV station. As the delusion and rage escalate, a twisted showdown brews between Melvis and Del, his burnt-out, bipolar employee, a failed TV comedian who has had enough of the showbiz jive.
