Deaf Crocodile will release on 4K Blu-ray/Blu-ray Grigori Kromanov's Dead Mountaineer's Hotel (1979). The release is scheduled to arrive on the market this March.
The upcoming release will introduce a brand new 4K restoration, which will premiere at the 76th Berlin International Film Festival as part of its Berlinale Classics program.
Police Inspector Glebsky is called to the remote "Dead Mountaineer's Hotel" – a false alarm, as it soon turns out. Glebsky decides to spend the night at the hotel anyway since there is no way to go back after a massive avalanche cuts off the hotel from the outside world, and Olaf, one of the other peculiar hotel guests, is found dead. Soon after, Glebsky's investigation pulls him into a strange place dominated by supernational forces.
