Kino Lorber have detailed their upcoming 4K Blu-ray and Blu-ray releases of Franc Roddam's K2 (1991), starring Michael Biehn, Matt Craven, Hiroshi Fujioka, Patricia Charbonneau, and Luca Bercovici. The two releases are scheduled to arrive on the market on March 17.
Description: It is called "The Savage Mountain." Many have perished trying to reach its ice-torn summit. Now K2 waits to claim the lives of two Americans whose only hope lies in the tenuous ties of their own friendship. Attorney Taylor Brooks (Michael Biehn, The Terminator, Rampage) and physics professor Harold Jamison (Matt Craven, Indian Summer, Crimson Tide) are unlikely friends bound by the same, all-consuming dream: to climb K2.
