Universal Pictures Home Entertainment will add five new titles to its Blu-ray catalog. They are:
Birth of the Blues (1941),
Double or Nothing (1937),
The Benny Goodman Story (1956),
Here Come the Waves (1944), and
Sing, You Sinners (1938).
Birth of the Blues
Description: Bing Crosby welcomes in the era of a new kind of music in Birth of the Blues. As a child, Jeff Lambert hangs out in New Orleans' Basin Street, playing hot swing on his clarinet instead of the classics his father prefers. He's inspired by an African-American group there and, some years later, sets out to form a jazz band of his own. With cornetist Memphis, singer Betty Lou Cobb and trombonist Jack Teagarden, he's on his way.

Double or Nothing
Description: A singer, a burlesque dancer, a tramp, and a gambler are four strangers honest enough to find and return wallets each containing a $100 to their rightful owner. Little do they know that all four of them are now part of an eccentric millionaire's will. If any of the four can double $5000 in thirty days, they will get the millionaire's estate in its entirety. However, they must face the millionaire's family who will stop at nothing to keep these four common folk from moving up in class.

The Benny Goodman Story
Description: The music of Benny Goodman comes to life in this wonderful musical biography of the famed King of Swing. Featuring all the outstanding songs and instrumental made famous by the immortal clarinetist, the story follows the innovative musician from his childhood in Chicago to his historic concert at Carnegie Hall in 1938.

Here Come the Waves
Description: Johnny Cabot (Crosby) is a swell and stylish entertainer who gets enlisted by Uncle Sam to serve in the Navy, despite being turned down earlier for color blindness. His poor sight makes it just about impossible for him to tell the difference between identical twin sisters (Hutton) who try to put the make on him. The swooning crooner soon discovers, however, that fellow shipmate Windy (Sonny Tufts) has his sights set on one of the twins and plans on making his own kind of waves to get his gal.

Sing, You Sinners
Description: Joe (Crosby), David (MacMurray) and Mike (O'Conner) are three brothers who disagree about everything and could not be more different from each other. As luck would have it, they make beautiful music when they sing together. When the eldest brother, Joe, who is also a gambler, moves to California, the family follows suit. Upon arrival they are horrified to find that Joe has put all his money toward a racehorse named Uncle Gus. The family rallies to bring the band back together to get Joe's money.
