Film Masters is preparing a Blu-ray release of Sam Newfield's The Black Raven (1943), starring George Zucco, Wanda McKay, Noel Madison, Robert Livingston, and Byron Foulger. The release is expected to arrive on the market in early 2026.
Description: One dark and stormy night, an escaped convict, an embezzler, a runaway daughter, her intended and her father, and a gangster take refuge in a remote inn called "The Black Raven" after the nickname of a second gangster who owns it; and murder ensues.
