ClassicFlix: Classic TV Series Lock-Up Heading to Blu-ray

ClassicFlix has revealed that it will release on Blu-ray Season One of the classic TV series Lock-Up (1959-1961), starring Macdonald Carey, John Doucette, Burt Reynolds, Dyan Cannon, Leonard Nimoy, and Mary Tyler Moore, amongst others. The release is scheduled to arrive on the market in early 2026.

Description: The Lock-Up series was inspired by real cases handled by lawyer Herbert L. Maris (Macdonald Carey), showing how circumstantial evidence often wrongly convicted folks until Maris's thorough, prejudice-free investigations proved their innocence, highlighting justice and presumed innocence.

Each half-hour episode featured a new case where someone faced serious charges, often due to circumstantial evidence or misunderstandings, needing Maris's intervention.

The half-hour series ran two seasons for a total of 78 episodes. ClassicFlix plans to release the entire series and has already scanned in 4K the first 13 episodes (all from nearly pristine original camera negatives or other 35mm pre-print material).
