Kino Lorber will release on Blu-ray Peter Sellers Early Classics (1959-1963). The release is scheduled to arrive on the market on February 24.

MAN IN A COCKED HAT (1959)

When valuable mineral deposits are discovered on the forgotten Pacific island colony of Gaillardia, bumbling British envoy Carlton-Browne (Terry-Thomas) is sent to investigate. Can the Empire's most disastrous diplomat restore relations with the gleefully corrupt Prime Minister Amphibulos (Sellers) before the Cold War comes to a boil?

I'M ALL RIGHT JACK (1959)

Upper-class but unemployable Stanley Windrush (Ian Carmichael) is offered an unskilled job on the floor of a missile factory owned by his unscrupulous Uncle Bertram (Dennis Price). When personnel manager Major Hitchcock (Terry-Thomas) discovers how much more quickly Windrush can complete his tasks than the other workers, union steward Fred Kite (Peter Sellers) calls a strike to keep his men from having their wages cut. The unexpected results cause nothing but trouble for all concerned.

TWO-WAY STRETCH

In this caper-comedy classic of 1960s British cinema, the great Peter Sellers (The Ladykillers, The Pink Panther) stars as cocky criminal "mastermind" Dodger Lane, who has been concocting the perfect robbery in prison. With two cellmates he intends to break out of jail, steal a fortune in diamonds from a rich Maharajah, and then break back in. He only has a few days left of his sentence to serve and his alibi couldn't be any tighter. As long as the operation runs smoothly, what could possibly go wrong? Everything—in one of Sellers' funniest farces packed with a rib-tickling rogues' gallery of British comedy legends: Lionel Jeffries as the hilariously humiliated prison officer; Wilfrid Hyde-White as a bogus vicar; David Lodge as the meat-headed muscleman; and Bernard Cribbins in the nice young man part. Riotously directed by Robert Day (The Green Man).

THE WRONG ARM OF THE LAW (1963)

Thieves disguised as police officers are ripping off London's biggest criminals -- much to the consternation of both the law and the crooks. To reinstate the prevailing order, Scotland Yard announces a 24-hour truce between the law and organized crime. In an unlikely partnership, top detective Nosey Parker (Lionel Jeffries) and Cockney crime boss Pearly Gates (Peter Sellers) join forces to bring these impostors to justice, hoping to use an armored car robbery as bait.

HEAVENS ABOVE! (1963)

Peter Sellers gives one of his most memorable performances in Heavens Above! (1963). He stars as Reverend John Smallwood, an idealistic prison chaplain who is accidentally assigned to a wealthy parish who frowns upon his progressive ideas, like his insistence on ministering to the poor. His actions start offending not only the townspeople but the religious hierarchy and even the government itself. Can the Church of England silence their most compassionate cleric or will the vicar escape to serve the highest calling of all? It's another uproarious farce from producers/directors John and Roy Boulting (I'm All Right Jack), and features a brilliant supporting cast including Brock Peters (To Kill a Mockingbird), Isabel Jeans (Gigi), and Cecil Parker (The Ladykillers).
