Indicator/Powerhouse Films Announce March Releases

British distributors Indicator/Powerhouse Films have announced their March batch of 4K Blu-ray and Blu-ray releases. They are: The Survivor (1981) and Dead Kids (1981). The two releases are scheduled to arrive on the market on March 23.

The Survivor 4K Blu-ray

Robert Powell (Harlequin), Jenny Agutter (Walkabout), and Joseph Cotten (Island of the Fishmen) star in The Survivor, a terrifying tale of supernatural horror from director David Hemmings (Voices).

When pilot David Keller (Powell) is the sole survivor of a plane crash, he begins to experience terrifying visions. Assisted by a clairvoyant (Agutter) who claims to have contacted the crash victims, Keller starts to investigate the cause of the accident, only to find that those who can help him keep turning up dead...

Based on the novel by the celebrated horror writer James Herbert (The Fog), scripted by David Ambrose (Alternative 3), and produced by the legendary Antony I Ginnane (Patrick), The Survivor is a classic of Ozploitation horror.

Dead Kids 4K Blu-ray

Michael Murphy (Tanner '88), Louise Fletcher (One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest), Dan Shor (Wise Blood), and Fiona Lewis (A Day at the Beach) head the impressive cast of Dead Kids (also known as Strange Behavior), a darkly comic blend of horror and science fiction from director Michael Laughlin (Strange Invaders). In a small midwestern town, police chief John Brady (Murphy) investigates a bizarre series of murders.
