Australian label Imprint Films has informed us that it will add six new titles to its Blu-ray catalog in February. They are: High Road to China (1983), Target (1985), Hard Country (1981), Against All Odds (1984), Cross Creek (1983), and King David (1985). All titles are scheduled to arrive on the market on February 25.

HIGH ROAD TO CHINA

Tom Selleck landed his first major role as an alcoholic pilot in adventure classic High Road To China, directed by Brian G. Hutton (Where Eagles Dare), and also starring Bess Armstrong, Wilford Brimley, Robert Morley and Brian Blessed.

A hard-drinking biplane pilot teams up with a spoiled heiress in 1920s China to find her missing father, only to get caught up in a deadly clash with a ruthless warlord.

Loosely inspired by the novel by Jon Cleary, High Road To China features an original score by composer John Barry, and was nominated for two awards at the 1984 Saturn Awards.

TARGET

Matt Dillon and Gene Hackman star in international espionage thriller Target, from Academy Award-nominee Arthur Penn (Bonnie and Clyde, Night Moves).

When a woman is kidnapped, it is up to her husband and son to put aside their differences and rescue her.

Filled with exhilarating action sequences and superb performances from Dillon and Hackman, Target opened in second place at the US Box Office, and continues to be an underappreciated 80s gem.

HARD COUNTRY

A gritty portrayal of small-town Texas life, Hard Country is a contemporary Western from director David Greene (Madame Sin, Godspell), starring Jan-Michael Vincent (Buffalo '66), Michael Parks (Kill Bill), and Oscar-winner Kim Bassinger (L.A. Confidential) in her film debut.

Jodie dreams of the big city, but her boyfriend Kyle is content with factory work, beer, and pranks. As Jodie yearns for the thrill of life beyond their community, she's faced with a difficult choice: can she chase her dreams without leaving Kyle behind?

Also featuring performances from Gailard Sartain (The Outsiders), Daryl Hannah (Kill Bill), and Ted Neeley (Jesus Christ Superstar), Hard Country is a stunning drama, ripe for rediscovery.

AGAINST ALL ODDS

Rachel Ward, Jeff Bridges, James Woods, and Jane Greer star in this romantic thriller, from the Academy Award-nominated director of An Officer and a Gentleman, Taylor Hackford.

Terry Brogan, a cynical ex-football star, is hired to find the runaway mistress of a ruthless L.A. nightclub owner. Driven by passion for the mysterious young woman, Terry quickly finds himself trapped in a complex web of corruption, betrayal, and murder.

Adapted from the novel Build My Gallows High, Roger Ebert awarded the film three out of four stars, and the title song by Phil Collins was nominated for an Oscar, a Golden Globe, and a Grammy Award.

CROSS CREEK

Based on author Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings' memoir, this moving biographical drama stars Oscar-winning actress Mary Steenburgen (Melvin and Howard).

In the late 1920s, columnist Marjorie moves to rural Florida to write in peace. Despite her husband's eventual departure, the initial suspicion of the locals about her work, and the challenge of finding a worthy subject to devote herself to, she soon discovers the perfect theme for her novel.

Directed by the legendary Martin Ritt (The Long, Hot Summer), the film was nominated for four Academy Awards and the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival.

KING DAVID

Richard Gere stars in this gripping biblical drama from Academy Award-nominated Australian director Bruce Beresford (Double Jeopardy, Puberty Blues, Breaker Morant).

This epic chronicle of the life of David, a young shepherd who became King of Israel, begins in the year 1000 B.C. and follows his rise from a humble warrior to beloved monarch as he faces betrayal, sacrifice, and the weight of destiny.

Also stars Edward Woodward (The Wicker Man), Alice Krige (Chariots of Fire), Denis Quilley (Murder on the Orient Express), and Cherie Lunghi (Excalibur).
