Australian label Via Vision Entertainment has informed us that it will 4K Blu-ray Limited Editions of Darren Lynn Bousman's
Saw II(2005) and
Saw III (2006). The two releases are scheduled to arrive on the market on February 25.
SAW II
After Saw (2004) terrified horror fans worldwide, it was clear a new horror franchise had been born. Saw II followed the next year, kicking the bloodshed and terror into a new gear – now revitalised and restored in stunning 4K Blu-ray with Dolby Vision.
While investigating the bloody aftermath of a grizzly murder, Detective Eric Matthews (Donnie Wahlberg) has the feeling that it is the work of Jigsaw – the brilliantly twisted, notorious killer who disappeared, leaving only a trail of bodies behind. And Matthews is right, Jigsaw is at work again. But this time there are eight strangers sealed in a house – unaware of their connection to each other and forced to play out a game that challenges their wits and puts their lives in jeopardy.
