Hammer Films is preparing a 4K Blu-ray release of Terence Fisher's Stolen Face (1952), starring Paul Henreid, Lizabeth Scott, André Morell, Mary Mackenzie, and John Wood. The release is expected to arrive on the market in early 2026.
UPDATE: The label has provided a promotional video for the new restoration of the film.
Description: Philip Ritter, a philanthropic plastic surgeon, is jilted by Alice, a beautiful concert pianist, after a whirlwind romance. In desperation, he remakes disfigured criminal Lily in Alice's image, but learns to his very real cost that beauty is only skin deep.
Co-starring Paul Henreid and André Morell in his first Hammer appearance, Stolen Face has been painstakingly restored by Hammer in 4K from the original film negatives.
