Severin Films is preparing a Blu-ray release of Luigi Russo's Adam and Eve (1983), starring Domenico Rafele, Lidia Ravera, Luigi Russo, Jaime Comas Gil, and Eugenio Benito. The release is scheduled to arrive on the market during Black Friday.
Description:In the beginning there was heaven and earth, then man and woman. Soon, Adam (Mark Gregory of THE BRONX WARRIORS and the THUNDER trilogy) and Eve (blonde beauty Andrea Goldman in her only film role) were frolicking nude in The Garden of Eden. But thanks to '80s ItaloSleaze logic, Eve's eating of the forbidden fruit will beget a maelstrom of shame, guilt, hot sex, angry pterodactyls, crazed cannibals and more key prophecies from The Book of Genesis that you never learned in Sunday School. Pierangelo Pozzato (VIOLENCE IN A WOMEN'S PRISON) co-stars in this "cocktail of Italian movie crazy" (B&S About Movies) – also known as ADAM AND EVE VS. THE CANNIBALS – produced by Enzo Doria (TENTACLES, BEYOND THE DOOR) and directed by Luigi Rosso (BLUE ISLAND) from a screenplay co-written by Jaime Comas Gil (THE SHARK HUNTER) and an original story by God, now scanned in 4K from the original camera negative recently discovered in the Vatican Apostolic Archives.
